Tulsa Police arrested a driver who took them on a chase down U.S. Highway 412. David P. Marius was taken into custody on several complaints including eluding police.

Marius had a warrant out for his arrest for failure to appear in a burglary conviction.

The chase started at about 3 a.m. Friday when police tried to pull Marius' car over on Yale Avenue.

According to an arrest report, he ran two red lights and drove up on the curb, before entering the Broken Arrow Expressway and speeding off.

Police used tire spikes to slow the car, which stopped in west Tulsa near the South 65th West Avenue exit.

Marius was arrested for a previous felony warrant in addition to eluding and driving without a license or insurance.

Court records show Marius was convicted of burglarizing autos.
