I-44 Crash Backs Up Westbound Traffic Headed Into Tulsa

No one was injured after an SUV and pickup truck crashed on I-44 near 161st Street Tuesday morning, but the wreck did cause a big backup for westbound drivers headed into Tulsa.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a pickup truck rear-ended an SUV in the westbound lanes, knocking both into the center median.

Troopers say a third car also received minor damage.

The OHP says westbound traffic was backed up to almost the entrance to the Will Rogers Turnpike while Catoosa Fire and troopers worked the crash.
