A young Oklahoma couple skipped the altar for something a little more loco. Their love story led them down the aisle of a Sand Springs Taco Bueno.

The groom's stepfather posted the couple's wedding video to YouTube. The newlyweds admit they haven't even seen the video, but nearly 1,000 others have.

"One day, I took my ring off - and it was almost joking, half-hearted - and was like, ‘Will you marry me?' And she said yes," said Eufaula resident Caleb Nelms.

"It could be one of those 50 cent rings and I wouldn't care," Kelli Nelms said.

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something bueno—no, there's not much traditional about Kelli and Caleb Nelms' wedding.

"We just went there for an impromptu thing," Caleb said.

It was impromptu, but there was a story behind the chosen location. The fast food chain is where the couple met three years ago, and where they had their first date. Eventually, it became where they chose to become husband and wife.

"My mother is an ordained minister, and we thought, ‘Why not go where we had our first date?'" Caleb said.

Mom officiated the ceremony, where there was no champagne or cake, but instead some pop and the fried goodness of the chain's cheesecake chimichangas.

"The employees actually gave it to us for free," Caleb said.

Before they could exchange their vows, 20-year-old Caleb had to get the blessing of the parents of his 16-year-old bride-to-be.

And just like Kelli, they said yes.

"We fell in love and we wanted to see if we could do it on our own," Caleb said. "We're doing what we feel is right, we know we love each other and that we're meant for this."

Now, affirmation of their love is posted for the world to see.

"We didn't expect them to be on YouTube," Kelli said. "When he talked about putting it on YouTube, I was thinking 25 views, maybe the family going, ‘Oh, that's cute.'"

The couple says they're planning a more traditional, outdoor wedding for June. They're saving up the money now, so all of their family and friends can be there.
