Teen Arrested After Crashing Stolen Truck

A juvenile driver led Tulsa County deputies on a short chase in a stolen truck Wednesday night, before crashing.

It started when deputies tried to pull the truck over at 33rd West Avenue and Edison and the boy took off. It ended when the driver failed to make the turn onto Apache from 33rd and crashed into the woods.

The juvenile was taken into custody. Captain Paul Tryon said the boy was the only one who was hurt, and his injuries were minor.

Tryon said the truck turned out to be stolen.

A man and two juvenile girls, who were passengers in the truck, were not arrested.
