The Tulsa Fire Department helped a woman out of a sticky situation Tuesday afternoon, when the car she was driving washed off the road near 81st Street and Elwood Avenue.

The unidentified woman wasn't hurt when the car ended up stuck in the high water, but police said she had one big concern: she was borrowing her mother's car.

Police said the woman was worried about telling her mother about the car, because it's her mother's 20th wedding anniversary and she is renewing her vows. She told police her mother was already nervous about the vow renewal and she didn't want to add to her mother's stress.

That area of 81st Street is known to flood during heavy rain, and it's caused problems for drivers in the past.
