A man investigators described as a serial groper was charged Friday.

Brandon James, 24, faces four counts of sexual battery, one count of lewd molestation and one count of assault and battery with intent to commit a felony.

Police say James is responsible for groping multiple women and one 11-year-old girl.

Detectives said he was caught after assaulting a woman in a Walmart checkout line. He is also accused of groping women in the area of the Southroads Mall shopping center at 41st And Yale.
