A gunman wearing a Batman mask robbed a Tulsa KFC late Tuesday morning. Tulsa police are searching for the suspect in an armed robbery at the 21st and Garnett KFC.

Corporal Bruce Alexander of the Tulsa Police Department said two employees had just unlocked the doors when the man walked in shortly before 11 a.m.

The robber demanded cash, jumped over the counter and took an undisclosed amount of money, according to police. The suspect took money from the cash registers and safe then left the scene in a vehicle, possibly a red truck.

"No one was hurt," Alexander said.

The suspect is described as a 6'2" to 6'3" male with a thin build. He was wearing a scarf covering his mouth, dark clothing and a Batman mask.

"He said just looks like one of the recent Batman masks that they have on sale," the corporal said.
