Tulsa Police Investigate City's 44th Homicide Of The Year

A 47-year-old Tulsa man who died of a gunshot wound this week stemming from a domestic altercation on December 1st is being investigated as a homicide.

A 47-year-old Tulsa man who died of a gunshot wound this week stemming from a domestic altercation on December 1st is being investigated as a homicide.

On Saturday, December 1, 2012,  Tulsa Police were called to a home in the 200 block of East Newton Place where a woman told officers she had just shot her boyfriend. The boyfriend was identified as Robert Braggs.

Police say the woman told them she was attacked by Braggs and claimed self defense.

Braggs died December 10th at the hospital.

Following his death, police investigated and have submitted the circumstances from the December 1st incident to the Tulsa County DA's office on if the woman will be charged in the case.

Tulsa Police say Braggs' death is the city's 44th homicide of the year.
