A Texas law firm is investigating possible labor violations at a Tulsa call center.
Dallas attorneys for Baron and Budd say Alorica requires workers to clock out every time they took a break, even if it was just to go to the restroom.
The attorneys say Alorica's office rules could mean thousands of workers at call centers in Tulsa and across the country could be owed hundreds of thousands of dollars in back pay.
U.S. labor law says workers can't be penalized for breaks shorter than 20 minutes.
Workers at Tulsa's call center complained about their pay back in 2006, saying they were promised a raise they never got.
To learn more about these alleged Alorica wage violations or to see if you may be affected, workers in Tulsa can contact attorney Allen Vaught at 866-495-1255 or email avaught@baronbudd.com.
