Police Arrest Man Found With Suitcase Full Of Counterfeit Money

Bryan Osha Cleary, 23, was booked into a Tulsa County jail Wednesday on 60 counts of forgery and one count each of false impersonation and possession of a controlled substance.

Police arrested a man they say set up a counterfeiting operation near a Tulsa motel.

Bryan Osha Cleary, 23, was booked into a Tulsa County jail Wednesday on 60 counts of forgery and one count each of false impersonation and possession of a controlled substance.

According to the arrest report, Cleary was involved in a disturbance at the Super 8 Motel at 11525 East Skelly Drive. Officers found him hiding in a car in the parking lot.

Next to the car, police found a suitcase full of counterfeit bills and a printer used to create them, along with the blank paper to make more.

Police said they also found what appeared to be LSD.

When police tried to identify the suspect, he gave them a false name, the report states.

Police said Cleary has prior felony convictions.

He is being held on $129,000 bond.
