3 Injured In Shooting At Private Motel Party In Tulsa

Three people attending a private party were shot outside a Tulsa motel early Saturday morning.

Police said they received a call about the shooting at the Trade Winds Inn, 3141 E. Skelly Drive, at 1:18 a.m. and arrived at 1:20 a.m. to find a man and woman shot. They were transported by EMSA to local hospitals.

A third victim was taken to a hospital by a private vehicle. Police said none of the victims had life-threatening wounds.

Officers said all the shooting happened just outside the motel in the parking lot. One victim sought help inside the motel.

Police said a large room inside the motel had been rented for a large party and the victims were all attendees of the party.

Police said they are investigating a possible gang tie to the shootings.
