Hostess says talks to save the company have failed.
That means three dozen bakeries across the country, including Tulsa's Wonder Bread factory, will likely close.
A bankruptcy judge ordered Hostess to sit down with striking union workers before giving up hope on an eleventh-hour compromise.
But those negotiations went nowhere.
Hostess will ask to shut down all its facilities in a hearing in bankruptcy court Wednesday, which would mean 160 Tulsa jobs and nearly 18,000 more across the nation would be lost.
