Tulsa Man Accused Of Sexually Abusing 12-Year-Old Girl

Tulsa Police are looking for a man accused of sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl. Maurieko Lavell Thompson, 29, is wanted in lieu of a $50,000 bond.

The little girl told police she was sleeping in her mother's bed at a Tulsa apartment complex when Thompson, her mother's boyfriend, got into bed with her and touched her inappropriately.

The 12-year-old told police she jumped out of bed and went to another room. Thompson followed her and said he was "sorry" and "drunk," and asked her not to tell her mother, according to court documents.

The girl told police the incident made her feel "disgusted," like she "couldn't live with herself."

When interviewed, Thompson told police he had been at a club drinking and using Ecstasy. He said he did not intentionally touch her but was asleep.

Maurieko Thompson is wanted on a felony complaint of child sexual abuse.

He is 6'03" and 145 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
