Tulsa Police Arrest Two Teens For Car Burglaries

Tulsa police arrested two suspected car burglars early Tuesday morning, thanks to an alert citizen. Adam Fields and Guy Green are in a Tulsa County jail on complaints of burglary of a vehicle.

A witness saw a man break into a car near 121st and Oswego. He called police and gave them a description of the suspect's car: a white Dodge Magnum.

A few minutes later, an officer pulled the car over near 91st and College. Police tell us their search turned up marijuana, burglary tools, and items they believe were taken in car burglaries.

Investigators have located two victims who identified their stolen property.

Fields, 19, was booked on six complaints of burglary of a vehicle, possession of a controlled drug and attempted escape from arrest (two counts). Green, also 19, was jailed on three complaints of burglary of a vehicle.

Both men are Tulsa residents.
