The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the incident happened at about 4:30 p.m. on a rural road in southern Washington County.
Troopers say 30-year-old Lei Yang was instructing a woman on how to drive when the two got into an argument. Yang jumped out of the Chevy Traverse and hit his head, according to the OHP.
The OHP says the SUV was headed west on County road 3900 just east of Vera at the time.
