Tulsa Police: Man Arrested After Firing Handgun Near Bar, Chase

Tulsa Police arrested a man who fired a handgun outside a North Tulsa club early Thursday.

Police got a call just after 1 a.m. about a man bringing a gun inside Vegas Club in the 9300 block of East Admiral.

Just as officers arrived, they heard a gunshot and saw a pickup truck speed away.

Officers chased the truck until it got a flat tire and stopped at the QuikTrip near 11th and highway 169.

Police arrested the driver, 25-year-old Jason Myers. A female passenger in the pickup truck was not arrested.

Myers was booked into jail on complaints of eluding, having a firearm while intoxicated, DUI and reckless handling of a firearm.
