Owasso Skate Park Gets $250,000 Facelift

Owasso's skate park got a big facelift recently.

The city held a grand re-opening on Saturday to mark the completion of the project.

The original park was built back in 2003 and is now bigger, with new attractions.

"It's just got, like, everything in between," Nolan Welch said. "You've got stuff for people who are really good …you got stuff for people who aren't really good... you got people that are learning that they can do stuff."

The park was upgraded through a federal grant of almost $250,000.
