New Sprouts Farmers Market Breaks Ground In Bixby

A new business is sprouting up in Bixby.

Sprouts Farmers Market broke ground Tuesday morning on its first store in Green Country.

The store is going in on the southeast corner of 101st and Memorial.

It will specialize in natural and organic food and dietary supplements.

"They've got a great concept with high quality produce. It's actually purchased local, as well as all of their fruits and different things," said Bixby Mayor Ray Bowen.

The store opens next May.

There are two other "Sprouts" stores in Oklahoma—one in Oklahoma City and another in Edmond.
