A Tulsa homeowner got a rude surprise in the middle of the night when a pickup truck crashed into his kitchen.

The crash happened at about 12:30 a.m. on Hudson at 36th Street.

Tulsa Police say the pickup was northbound on Hudson when it jumped a curb and crashed into the home.

The homeowner, Troy Morden, was asleep at the time.

"I jumped up and came to the kitchen and I could see the headlights through the wall and the radio was playing loud and she was hollering, 'Oh My God, Oh My God,'" said Troy Morden.

Police say the woman got out of the pickup truck and ran away.

Morden wasn't hurt and went to a neighbor's home.  He waited until the sun came up to remove the truck and board up the big hole in the wall.

Police are still looking for the woman.
