Tulsa-based Flintco and St. Louis-based Alberici appear to have reached a deal over a possible acquisition by Alberici.
News media in St. Louis and Memphis are reporting if the deal goes through, Flintco would retain its name and employees.

"Both companies believe in developing people from within and that people are each company's most important asset. Both companies have a strong tradition in construction management, general contracting and self-perform work. Both companies would benefit from expertise in a wide variety of sectors and geographic scope."
Flintco was founded in 1908 and has operations in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Memphis, Austin, Sacramento and Albuquerque.
Alberici is one of the top 50 construction companies in the United States.
