Couple Charged With Tahlequah Double Murder

A Muskogee couple is in the Cherokee County jail charged with the murder of two Tahlequah residents in mid-August.

Jessie Redford, 46, and Tracy Redford, 43, are charged with first degree murder in the deaths of Jessie Catron and Angela Finley.

Tahlequah Police found the bodies of Catron and Finley when officers did a welfare check at their home on August 15th. Investigators say the Redfords cut the victims' throats before stealing credit cards.

Catron was a Vietnam veteran.

Jessie and Tracy Redford are being held without bond.
