Charges were filed Tuesday against two men who were arrested earlier this month for a burglary and triple shooting, which left one woman dead and two other people wounded.
Court records show Ronnie Jones, also known as "Ronnie Roach," 22, was charged with one count of felony murder in the first degree, first degree burglary, robbery with a firearm, two counts of shooting with intent to kill, and possession of a firearm after a felony conviction.
The other man, Everett Monte Wilson, was charged with felony murder, first degree burglary, and robbery with a firearm.
Police said the two men entered an apartment near 63rd Street and Peoria Avenue on September 10, wearing masks. Two of the shooting victims were inside the apartment when they entered.
Police said Everett Adkins was confronted and shot inside the apartment and the shooter followed Makala White outside and shot her.
One of the victims, 25-year-old Shametra Fields, was walking down the street nearby when she was shot. Fields later died from her injuries.
Police said a witness told them that one of the victims claimed $6,000 and some drugs were stolen from the apartment.
According to the arrest reports, Wilson told police he was forced at gunpoint by Jones to participate in the incident.
The next court date for Jones and Wilson has not yet been set.
