Man Wanted For West Tulsa Murder, Arrested By Police

Tulsa Police have located and arrested a 29-year-old man charged with first degree murder. Dwaine Edward Ryder was on the department's Most Wanted suspect list.

He was also wanted on a weapons possession charge.

Ryder is charged in connection with the death of Emil L. Barron, 32.

Tulsa Police say the homicide took place September 4th at the Parkview Terrace Apartments, a Tulsa Housing Authority complex located near U.S. Highway 75 and West 61st Street.

Tulsa Police said it appeared the two men were arguing outside on the grounds of the complex when Ryder shot and killed Barron.
