An Ottawa County escapee was taken into back into custody Sunday. Two alleged accomplices were also arrested, according to a release from the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department.

Bryan Thomas Delaney escaped just before 6 a.m. Sunday while being treated at the Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami, according to Detective Derek Derwin.

Delaney, 43, complained of chest pain earlier that morning and went to the hospital's emergency room with a guard. While being treated, Delaney removed his IV and ran out of the emergency room.

After a manhunt involving helicopters, K9 officers and riverboats, Delaney was located near Rotary Park in Miami. Derwin said Delaney and a female accomplice, Amanda Dunn, were taken into custody after a short foot pursuit.

The escaped prisoner, who was being held in Ottawa County Jail in connection to the July 6th robbery of the Miami Holiday Inn, was booked on additional complaints of escape from a county jail and resisting arrest.

Dunn was booked on complaints of resisting arrest and harboring a fugitive. A second accomplice, 23-year-old Gregory Lee Crooks, was also arrested on complaints of harboring a fugitive and obstructing an officer.
