Oklahoma may not have an ocean or major mountain range, but it is filled with beauty.
One interesting Oklahoman combines his passion for photography with his enthusiasm for the state, and he has some amazing images to show for it.
Tulsan Johnny Barber is quick to point out he's not a professional photographer.
"I've got a lot more to learn," Barber said.
But look at some of the photographs he's taken all across Oklahoma, he could easily be a professional.
"I love photography, especially Oklahoma. It's a beautiful place," Barber said.
After picking up a camera about five years ago, he said he's now hooked on the hobby and on the beauty of Oklahoma.
"Just the colors and everything, it really gets me going," Barber said. "I love the colors here."
Barber especially loves Oklahoma sunsets, but he's out at least several times each week, taking pictures of whatever catches his eye.
"I love this state very much," Barber said.
That love of Oklahoma shows up in his photos taken from all over the state.
"I've been to all four corners, and I'm going to keep going until I hit every state park," Barber said.
So far, he's been to 32 state parks.
Even Barber doesn't know what he'll notice on any given day—whether it's scenery, the sky, wildlife or other wonders.
"You've got to just get out and look," Barber said.
Barber said Black Mesa and Talimena Drive are two of his favorite destinations in Oklahoma.
I've shared some of his pictures on my Facebook page for you to take a look.
