Teen, Adult Accomplice Arrested For Armed Robbery Of Eufaula Store

A 16-year-old and a 19-year-old were both arrested on complaints of armed robbery.

Eufaula authorities said a Love's store was robbed by a 16-year-old boy, who used a 19-year-old as an accomplice.

Police said the adult accomplice, Justin Smith, of Stigler, dropped the juvenile off at the store around 2 a.m. Monday. The juvenile then wandered around the store before approaching the cashier with a handgun and demanding all the cash in the register.

Eufaula PD said the boy left the store on foot and was apprehended about three miles away.

They said they investigation revealed Smith was a co-conspirator in the robber, and he was also arrested.

The police chief said there were three other passengers in the car at the time, who they believe knew nothing of the plot to rob the store.
