The Oklahoma Blood Institute is calling for donations to benefit a 2-year-old girl who nearly drowned three months ago.

Rosalie Goodwin from Owasso is still fighting for her life, but there is a way you can help.

OBI's blood drive runs until 6 p.m. Tuesday, at the Central Baptist Church in Owasso.

Donations benefit Rosalie and other patients like her.

For every donation OBI receives Tuesday, her family will get "blood donation credits" to offset their medical costs.

"You know you can't always give money, but most of us have plenty of blood to donate," said the blood drive organizer, Nicole Reed.

OBI says there is a constant need for donations. Click here to find out how you can donate to help fellow Oklahomans in need.
