Friends, Family Say Goodbye To Tulsa's Mother Grace Tucker

Friends and family said goodbye to Tulsa's Mother Tucker Tuesday.

Grace Tucker had a dream to end poverty. She started a church and opened shelters to try to achieve that.

Tucker received an honorary doctorate from Oral Roberts University in 2001, as well as many other awards along the way.

She passed away last week at the age of 93.

The public memorial service was held at Victory Christian Center, at 7700 South Lewis Avenue Tuesday morning.

Photojournalist Chris Howell was there as so many turned out to honor one of Oklahoma's Own.
