The Tulsa Golden Hurricane volleyball team fell to 2-2 on the season with a road loss against Arkansas on Tuesday.
Arkansas defeated Tulsa 3-0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-19) at Barnhill Arena.
Tulsa opened up a 8-3 advantage in the first set, but the Razorbacks came back to tie it at 10. After the score was tied at 13, Arkansas took six of the next seven points to lead 19-14 and went on to win 25-22. Tulsa couldn't recover then remainder of the match.
On the match, Tulsa attained an attack percentage of .145 (44-24-138) while Arkansas had a percentage of .295 (41-10-105). The Hurricane collected 51 digs to the Razorbacks' 65, and added 4.0 blocks compared to Arkansas' 8.5.
The Hurricane will hit the road on Thursday for the Kansas Invitational in Lawrence. TU plays Arkansas State and Kansas on Friday and then Nebraska-Omaha on Saturday.
