Vinita Celebrates Big Country With Rodeo, Calf Fry

The self-proclaimed World's largest Calf Fry kicked off Saturday in Vinita, as part of Big Country Weekend.

The 33rd annual "fry-off" cooked up over a thousand pounds of calf fries - or mountain oysters. t was the 76th annual Will Rogers Memorial Rodeo in Vinita as well, sponsored by American Legion Post #40.

Folks enjoyed a parade, bands, fair food, and cowboy-themed games.
