A night after limiting the Arkansas Travelers to just a single run, the Tulsa Drillers found their own well of runs had run dry.

The Drillers failed to manufacture a run against the Travelers Thursday night, falling 3-0 in front of 4,057 fans at ONEOK Field.

Jarrett Grube pitched seven shutout innings for the Travelers, giving up just five hits to Tulsa batters in the win. Dan Houston took the loss for Tulsa, despite a strong outing of his own. Kevin Johnson worked the ninth for his 15th save of the year for the Travelers.

The Drillers were 0-for-8 with runners in scoring position, and left eight runners on base. Tulsa wasn't particularly sharp in the field either, committing two errors.

The Travelers got on the board first in the top of the fourth inning on a two-run homer from Paul McAnulty.

The score stayed that way until the eighth inning when, with runners on the corners, Darwin Perez stole home to push the Travelers' advantage to 3-0.

The series finale between the two teams will be Friday night at ONEOK Field, with first pitch set for 7:05 p.m.
