Editor's note: We're moving into a brand new building at the end of the year, which means we have to take inventory of everything in our old one. That includes going through thousands of hours of old videotapes. We've found some real treasures so we're sharing them here.

A big casting call is happening in Tulsa Saturday for the movie August: Osage County.

It's yet another movie with big stars and will be shot almost entirely in Oklahoma.

There've been a few major motion pictures filmed here in Oklahoma lately, but it's still nothing like it was back in the early ‘80s.

As Rick Wells shows us in this week's story from our Video Vault, when Tulsan S.E. Hinton's novels were being turned into movies, Tulsa was like a mini-Hollywood.
