Oklahoma Soldier's Stolen Dog Returned Safe

Last week, an Oklahoma veteran's home was burglarized, and his English bulldog was stolen, along with some of his possessions.

Now, Specialist Phillip Ortiz and his dog, Sarge, have been reunited.

Ortiz was at the hospital for his nephew's birth when his Cleveland County home was broken into.

This week, police raided the house of the suspected thieves and found Ortiz's stolen items, but no Sarge.

It turned out, Sarge had escaped and a neighbor and her kids had taken him in.

But when they saw the missing posters Ortiz posted in the suspects' neighborhood, they got Sarge back to him.

Ortiz said, with no wife or children, Sarge is his family and he's very thankful to have him home.
