Tulsa Police Unsure If Rollover Wreck Victim Was Driver Or Passenger

Tulsa Police are trying to determine if a man found injured in a car which rolled over early Wednesday morning on Southwest Boulevard was a passenger or the driver.

Shortly after midnight, police and fire were sent to 3500 block of Southwest Boulevard where they found a car lying on its top.

Tulsa Police say the car hit a curb, then a guide wire to a utility pole, causing the car to roll over and slide on its top for almost 200 feet before coming to a stop.

The injured man was outside the car when officers arrived.  He told officers the driver ran away.

EMSA took the man to a Tulsa hospital.  Police say he is expected to be okay.
