A 54-year-old McIntosh County man was found dead in his truck Monday night. A neighbor found Robert Hall's body in a pickup parked outside Hall's home near Hitchita.
Investigators found trauma to the body but say it is unclear how the wounds were inflicted.
The state medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death, according to a bulletin by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
The McIntosh County Sheriff's Office requested OSBI assistance in the suspicious death. An OSBI spokesperson says they do not believe Hall's death is connected to a homicide in nearby Checotah.
