Dozens of Boy Scouts lead a search and rescue drill in Broken Arrow Monday night.

Troop 995 teamed up with the Broken Arrow Fire Department to find two lost boys, hiding in the woods with pretend injuries.

The goal is to be able to help out emergency crews during real search events.

"They're using first aid, they're using orienteering, some of the skills they learned for the climbing merit badge, with the knots and the rope work for rappelling and things," said Troop 995 Committee member Cayti Burch.

The drill will earn them an emergency preparedness badge, which is required to reach the Eagle Scout rank.
