The Tulsa County Sheriff received one of the highest awards there is for an Oklahoma sheriff.
Sheriff Stanley Glanz was inducted into the Oklahoma Sheriff's Hall of Fame at the annual Oklahoma Sheriff's Association Banquet last Friday.
Glanz was first elected Sheriff of Tulsa County in November 1988 and took office on January 1, 1989. This year, he became the longest serving sheriff in Tulsa County's history. He was re-elected to his seventh consecutive term in April.

Throughout his career, Glanz has been focused on reducing the amount of criminal alien recidivism and making the community safer for those in Tulsa County.
He has been involved in several community organizations such as the Boy Scouts of America, numerous committees and boards focused on both accreditation and law enforcement. He has received several state, federal, and local awards.
