The Oklahoma Department of Corrections has identified an inmate who died at a McAlester hospital after setting a fire in his cell at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary.
DOC says the inmate was 26-year-old Julius Parker of Tulsa.
He was serving a 2005 sentence out of Tulsa County on a robbery with firearm conviction.
Smoke was seen coming from his cell on Saturday. Parker was then rushed to the hospital where he died.
