Police Release Identity Of Driver Arrested For DUI After His Truck Hits Motorcycle

A passenger on the back of a motorcycle was taken to a Tulsa hospital after a truck hit the bike near 71st and Yale.

Conroy James Nini, 61, was booked into a Tulsa County jail for DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.

Tulsa Police say the crash happened just after 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers say the truck Nini was driving struck the back of the motorcycle as the bike was turning into the Coppermill Apartments parking lot. The impact caused the cyclist to lose control and crash.

The cyclist was not injured, but there's no word on the passenger's condition.

An off-duty police officer witnessed the crash and followed the truck until fellow officers stopped it a few blocks away.
