Part Of 61st Street To Close This Week For Street Widening Project

East 61st Street between Madison and South Newport will be closed through Saturday.

Crews are replacing sewer lines there.

This is part of an $11-million street widening project between Peoria and Riverside.

The entire project will be finished next March.
