Oklahoma Families Raise Awareness About Whooping Cough

Two Oklahoma families are raising awareness about whooping cough.

One of the families already lost a baby to the disease, and the Galmor family's baby, Cullen, is currently being treated.

They shared their stories Monday, hoping to spare other parents from the pain.

"We just want a prayer and a shot," said Cullen's mother, Devyn Galmor. "We just want a prayer and a shot. Just pray and go get your shot. That's all we are asking for."

Doctors at OU Medical Center confirm the Health Department has seen an increase in whooping cough cases across the state.
