Three men wearing masks and armed with guns forcibly entered a Tulsa home, took a lock box, then left the scene late Thursday, police said.

It happened just before midnight in the 7100 block of South Canton Avenue.

No one was injured in the robbery.

Police searched the area for the lockbox, but it is unknown if they recovered it.

Tulsa police said they believe the home invasion is connected to two others that also happened Thursday.

About three hours before that home invasion, there were similar descriptions of individuals who committed a home invasion-type robbery at the St. Thomas Square Apartments near 61st Street and South Peoria Avenue.

No one was injured.

During daylight hours, police responded to a home invasion near 63rd Street and South Madison Avenue, where a Jeep was taken but has not been recovered.

Officers believe the second and third robberies were committed by individuals who may have had some connection to the first robbery.

KRMG radio contributed to the reporting of this story.
