Pickup Truck Destroyed, Driver Injured After Hitting Tree In SE Tulsa

Paramedics took a man to a Tulsa hospital after he crashed his pickup into a tree early Thursday morning.

The crash happened on 111th near Sheridan. A passerby noticed the wreckage at about 2 a.m. and called police. 

Tulsa Police say the driver lost control and hit the tree, then was trapped in the cab.  After Tulsa firefighters freed him, EMSA took him to the hospital with several broken bones.

No one else was hurt.
