Motorcyclist Injured In Owasso Collision

Owasso Police worked an injury wreck at 76th Street North and South Cedar Road.

A Cadillac and motorcycle collided at that intersection at about 10:45 a.m., according to Sergeant Nick Boatman with the Owasso Police Department.

A photo courtesy of Owassoisms.com shows a badly damaged Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle, parts embedded in the car's windshield and front end.

The motorcyclist has been transported to a Tulsa hospital, where he was admitted in critical condition, Boatman said.

"Initial indications are that he was wearing a helmet at the time of the impact," Boatman said.

The driver of the passenger car was treated for minor injuries at the same.

The road way blocked for several hours. Owasso police continue to investigation the collision, Boatman said.
