Rogers County Rural Water District #3 says due to current drought conditions they've instituted mandatory outdoor water rationing for all of their customers.

District officials say the rural water district which serves customers in Rogers, Mayes and Tulsa counties, they are experiencing low water pressures across the system due to several factors.

  1. Extreme heat caused several pump failures yesterday - Working on the problem today.
  2. Malfunctioning automated valve failure yesterday - Working on the problem today.
  3. Power surges from the power companies.
  4. Extreme heat and extremely abnormal high water usage.

The Rogers County Rural Water District #3 has issued a schedule for customers to follow when it comes to watering outdoors until further notice.
