Tulsa Police are searching for a man who attempted to rob an East Tulsa McDonald's restaurant early Monday morning.

Shortly before 2:30 a.m., police say the man threw a rock through a door window at the restaurant at Interstate 44 and 129th East Avenue.

An employee told officers the robber who was wearing a black bandana, hat and shirt was carrying something in his hand, which may have been a gun.

Police say when he broke the window, all three employees ran to the back of the restaurant.

For some unknown reason, the man ran away without taking any cash.

Tulsa Police say he was seen getting into light colored Jeep Commander-type vehicle.

None of the employees were injured.

Police describe the robber as a black male, 6-foot-2 and stocky build.  Anyone with information about this robbery should call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
