Anything for a good cause, right? In 1981, Tulsa participated in the Bedlam 500, where teams raced beds through downtown Tulsa.
A good-sized crowd of people came out to watch as teams from businesses like J.C. Penney and Heritage House raced to raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy.
KOTV reporter Winifred Washington tells us some beds reached speeds of 15 m.p.h.
