Police In Tulsa, Sand Springs Investigate Threats To Two Walmart Stores

There is new information on bomb threats against two Tulsa area Walmart stores Thursday morning.

Tulsa Police say someone called in two threats at two different stores.

The first involved the Walmart at 81st and Lewis at 9 a.m. Thursday.

Tulsa Police and fire evacuated the store, but didn't find a bomb.

Then about 9:30 a.m., someone called in another threat to the Walmart store in Sand Springs.

This time, Sand Springs Police did not evacuate the store.

Police in both communities are trying to find out who made the phone calls and why.
