A Jenks Police officer, applying for a job with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Narcotics, collapsed and died in Oklahoma City.
OBN's Mark Woodward confirmed to News On 6, officer Juan Legaretta was applying for a position with the state agency on Tuesday, when he started feeling ill and collapsed during training.
Legaretta was taken to an Oklahoma City hospital, where he died on Wednesday.
The Jenks Police Chief says Officer Legaretta joined the department last July and was an Army veteran. The chief said the young officer had no health issues.
The medical examiner will determine why he died.
