No one was home when a Tulsa home went up in flames early Wednesday morning.

Tulsa Fire got the call to a home in the 700 block of East 48th Street North at about 3:30 a.m.

Firefighters say they had a hard time getting into the home, because the front door was heavily barricaded.

Once inside, firefighters were able to bring the fire under control, but not before it damaged a good portion of the structure.

Fire officials believe an electrical problem in a closet was the source of the fire.  From there the fire spread to the home's attic.

No one was hurt.
